Apple iPad Pro 10.5″ 256GB Wi-Fi – Space Grey.

For the first time ever, I bought an iPad, the one I went for is the Apple iPad Pro 10.5″ 256GB Wi-Fi – Space Grey.

An impressive tablet I must say.

Apple’s packaging was as usual spot on.

I also picked up a cover and Apple Pencil.

I decided to buy the tablet from Amazon as I checked the price and it was approximately £50 less than Apple direct.

As this is the first iPad for me, I have nothing to compare with on any other model, all I can say is that everything is incredibly smooth, setup of course was very easy.

Like the Apple iPhone SE 128GB, it is capable of recording at 4K – although this requires a visit to your settings to change from the default of 1080p.

Another decision I made was not to buy the keyboard for a couple of reasons, I really want to try to get used to not relying on keyboards any more and the cost from Apple is too much and it does not even have back lighting.

All of the Apps that I use except one were easily installed.

I am looking forward to the IOS 11 upgrade, especially the Augmented Reality and using the camera to scan documents.

In short – so far – impressive.

Apple iPhone SE 128GB – First Impressions

As it was high time to upgrade my old iPhone 4S (great phone – lasted me for years), I came to the conclusion that the SE model was the best match for me.

The main reason for the upgrade was the upcoming release of IOS 11, which has the Augmented Reality feature.

Other reasons include 4G, bigger memory and 4K video recording.

The packaging, as usual, was a dream, except I almost missed the SIM opening tool.

Spending most of yesterday setting up all of the apps I use and configuring WiFi at home and mobile connections, was able to do everything I wanted to do.

Note: make sure you take the front & rear plastic covers off before putting this in a phone cover 🙂

There is no doubt that Apple produce an expensive phone but the quality is really, really top notch and if my 4S is anything to go by, will last for years to come.

P.S. A quick shout out to Carphone Warehouse who were able to offer the best deal I could find on O2.
